Chorate   is a Reading-based mixed voice chamber choir, formed in 2009 by a group of experienced singers wanting to sing, have fun and raise funds for good causes, with over £2000 raised so far!

The group gives concerts at churches across Reading, as well as carol singing for local charities, and earlier this year gave a concert at St Mary's in Slough.  A visit to Margam Abbey in South Wales is planned for the future.

They also sing for weddings, the most recent was at St Peter & Paul, Checkendon.

Their repertoire comprises sacred and secular music from the 13th century to the present day, by composers from Palestrina to Rodgers and Hammerstein!

On Saturday, April 28th they will be returning to sing at St William of York Church in Reading, with our theme as "World in Union".
