Next concert: 12 noon, Saturday 11th May, St Mary's Slough.
We are a Reading-based mixed voice chamber choir, formed in 2009 by a group of experienced singers wanting to sing, have fun and raise funds for good causes, with over £4500 raised so far! The group gives concerts at churches across Reading, as well as carol singing for local charities, and earlier this year gave a concert at St Mary's in Slough. A visit to Margam Abbey in South Wales is planned for the future.
We also sing for weddings, the most recent was at St Peter & Paul, Checkendon. Our repertoire comprises sacred and secular music from the 13th century to the present day, by composers from Palestrina to Rodgers and Hammerstein!
Our next concert will be at St James's Church, Forbury Road, Reading on Saturday, December 7th, with a selection of Songs and Poems for Advent.
